Clarabel the Mysterious by EmmaMount Clarabel the Mysterious by EmmaMount
how i loved painting this doll, so perfect for the halloween season, all those autumnal golden ringlets, she is a steampunk sweetie! ^_^ :pumpkin:

this is an original oil painting on round canvas 20" diameter

with much thanks and credit to the kind and talented KMIRO J.K. who customised this blythe doll (and who also named the painting)

She is beautiful, Emma - a slightly creepy feel about her, just perfect for Halloween as you mentioned!

I love this one. It's just perfect. The hair is so lovley...I really love how it almost shines and has that golden look. The make-up is cool, it really fits her well and sets a mood for the painting. You did an amazing job:huggle:

Whoa! Perfect.
Great vintage/steampunk vibe to this.
For some reason, also puts me in mind of the movie "Return to Oz".

She's very appropriate for this time of year ;)
And I think you'd most definitely love the movie! It's a little darker, but more true to the feel of the books than the first one.
