what is your process in making a lovely...
um! wait.
this is a really small canvas 12 inches by 18inches? That must be really challenging, as you've got to make a really tight piece in every aspect.
the lighting is fantastic and the quality of her skin is so smooth! How many layers did you make? how thin is the paint?
erm, i always paint the canvas a buff colour in acrylic just so's i'm not painting straight onto bright white, then i sketch out my visual in pencil so that i can make amends and check the composition on the canvas before applying paint, other than that i mostly paint with oils straight out of the tube, no medium or anything
i mix white into nearly every colour i do, it seems to make it more opaque and gives a chalky quality i like
hope that helps?
she looks like a ''lady -boy''
stu
but i can assure you she's a very gorgeous red blooded woman!
but a small mistake at the right hand
and happy to have mistakes pointed out to me, so please tell me what's up with the hand
